Mauldin Miracle League
The Mauldin Miracle League's selection as a benefactor in the Greenville Evening Rotary Club's Annual Duck Derby charity event has proven to be a fantastic partnership! Not only do our children receive a charitable donation they are able to participate in a fun day of community service. The Duck Derby donation funds scholarships and general expense events for our "special needs players such as "A Day at the Zoo" and "PICNIC" Day with the Greenville Drive baseball team. Our children, parents and the Board of Directors of Mauldin Miracle League give hearty thanks to all the wonderful folks of the The Rotary Club of Greenville Evening who takes their mission "Service Above Self" seriously so that we can honor our mission that "Every child deserves a chance to play baseball".
Dennis Raines, League Director
Greenville Area Interfaith Hospitality Network (GAIHN)
The GAIHN community deeply appreciates the compassion and enthusiasm with which the Greenville Evening Rotary Club conducts the Reedy River Duck Derby each year. The members of this club energize all of Greenville with what has now become a family and community tradition. These dedicated volunteers truly exemplify the spirit of Rotary, "Service Above Self." However, the real winners of the Derby are the children of the greater Greenville area and around the world! Thanks to the wonderful generosity and incredible energy of the Greenville Evening Rotary Club, special children in the Greenville Area Interfaith Hospitality Network (GAIHN) program will be blessed with exceptional shelter and warm meals all year long ….all because our Greenville neighbors adopted Derby Ducks and had a ball at Falls Park last Saturday.
